Chrysallis - Close to Disability participated in the third meeting of How to talk to be understood European project that took place on 30 November 2008 in Krakow, Poland. The “How to talk to be understood” project is funded by the Life Long Learning, Grundtvig (Learning Partnership) programme. The ultimate goal of the project is to develop in adults with autism one of the basic skills, i.e. social communication, by means of a multimedia didactic program prepared with international cooperation and released on a Multilanguage CD.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss the progress of the project and the difficulties of it.

The project is targeted at high-functioning adults with autism who belong to disadvantageous disabled group because autism impairs communication skills, social interactions and cognitive functions and has strong impact on the independent life when the level of social demands increases.
