EUROPEAN DIMENSION IN PARENT EDUCATION

Aim of the Project:

To establish an international partnership of different organizations from Estonia, Greece and Latvia, which provide parent education in their countries, for enhancement of opportunities and motivation of parents of disadvantaged groups for lifelong learning.

To identify the best practices of involvement of adult learners - parents of minority families, parents of families of children with special needs, poor families and other disadvantaged groups - in parent education.

To analyse the factors, which promote the most efficient impact on involvement of parents of disadvantaged groups in adult education and its effectiveness.

To enhance the knowledge and skills of the partners necessary for successful parent education.

Main Activities:
The main activities of the project include partners meetings, survey to explore the experience in the participating countries, study visits, sharing of knowlegde and experience by Internet, and conferences.
